Bega Village Motor Inn

This motel is an absolute gem. It may not be new, but it’s clean and comfortable and perfectly located in the middle of Bega. The grounds are very well kept and the owners are lovely. It’s quiet at night and has everything a traveler needs - crisp, clean sheets, comfy beds and hot, strong showers in a modern bathroom. The decor is a bit dated but if you’re looking for a restful night’s sleep at reasonable prices, this is it.

Motel is close to shops. Firstly, - -Motel lists ‘Breakfast available’ - NOT AVAILABLE!!! -Rooms quite aged. Photos need to be updated on sites to show Motel’s current state. (We were told by a local that it was the best motel in Bega - really!! -Cobwebs, and full of dust, hanging all round the roof, walls etc - mostly removed by my husband. Also thick dust on edges, print & top of bed head. -Didn’t use Air Conditioner - again cobwebs and dust all around. Obviously not serviced or cleaned regularly. -Single chair seats need cleaning - very soiled -didn’t use! -Microwave was rusted out. Replaced on our request. -Also on handing key in - walked in to a closed office and had a very heavy smell of cigarette smoke - Not good! Very important that some serious maintenance and cleaning be done on all rooms. They seem to turn over a number of people.
